Continuing with our summer heat theme - we look at Ogio's Baja Hydration Pack. Ogio makes a wide range of quality backpacks and is know for their stylish looks and myriad of useful pockets and compartments.

style

Ogio would be ruining it's reputation as a stylish backpack manufacturer if it's Baja hydration pack did not follow the same principles - and it does just that. The pack displays a unique pattern and looks slick. A solid black version with white highlights is also available.

features

The pack's main purpose is to provide the wearer a cooled water reservoir - a three liter reservoir might we add. The wearer can drink through the hydration tube which can come out of one of two exit ports.

The pack also features as well as a zippered accessory pocket located in the front of the pack for storing small tools.

The two-way adjustable sternum strap allows for added support. A waist strap can also be fastened for even greater security.

quality

The Baja hydration pack is made of a light weight nylon construction and is very durable. You can tell the zippers and stitching are strong and will not easily fray.

The pack sells for USD $89.99 - a reasonable price for the size of it's reservoir of three liters. Most other hydration packs only offer the wearer one - two liters of carrying capacity.

If your planning on touring through hot weather - a water pack is something you should seriously consider. Heat exhaustion can cause you to make poor decisions which is deadly when riding a motorcycle. Ogio's Baja Hydration pack is an excellent choice for riders who plan on taking such trips. The quality of the material of the pack is extremely durable and the various straps ensure there will be no unwanted shifting of the pack while moving. One thing to keep in mind is that there is not much room in the pack for other cargo once the reservoir is full, however, this rings true across most hydration packs.
